TOC Page Peer Feedback & Revisions

Introduction. In this blog, I am going to be showing a new, edited TOC page that includes revisions from peers. I used Canva to make this TOC page, and am going to be showing multiple edits that I made, and which TOC page I am planning on using for the final product. I will be showing some potential changes that came from peer feedback.

Original TOC Page.

Peer Feedback.

The first peer said that I should put the article descriptors in lower-case. The reason for this is that the current look is too chaotic and overwhelming. I also misspelled Italy. I decided to keep the descriptors upper-case because when being lower-case, they were too small. In addition, keeping it lower-case means that some of the text downward due to the size of some characters, and that left too much open space on the right side. I fixed the misspelling of Italy.

The second peer said i should move thee article titles to the left. This is just a stylistic choice. I decided to keep them in the middle, because when moving it to the left, it left too much space on the right side for the smaller headings.

The third peer said that I should change the articles because they are too repetitive. I decided to change the articles because they do look like I am saying the same thing over and over again. I decided to change the second article to not talk about Turkey because the first article already does. I also worded some other articles differently. This helps to stay clear and concise, and getting straight to the point is a convention of travel magazines.

Conclusion.

This is my final TOC page. I decided  to keep the headings in the middle. I also decided to change some article names and descriptors to not be so repetitive.  I decided to keep all the text upper-case as making them lower-case means that there would be too much white space, and the text would be too small.

Updated TOC.

This is my updated TOC. With feedback from my teacher, I decided to space out the articles. This helps it breath and looks less congested.
